After years of debate and postponement, the implementation of the EU e-Privacy Directive is almost upon us, and all those engaged in internet marketing will be affected in some way by it. According to a new survey, the majority of consumers, 89 per cent, think the new EU cookie directive is a positive step, despite the fact that three quarters of them had not heard of it before they were surveyed. Of those who had heard of it, just 16 per cent were fully aware of what would be happening.
